Obviously, the best way to save money is to stop spending it. But it’s so hard to cut your beloved habits, especially when your closet has so many empty spaces just waiting to be filled. That’s why my approach is to shop smarter, rather than shutting down the therapeutic outlet completely (let’s face it). One of my favorite tricks is to head to Amazon, yes, Amazon, when I want to buy new pieces from my favorite brands. You see, the Premium Brands section of the site is actually full of items from the designer I always buy from: STAUD, LOVESHACKFANCY, Free People, Madewell and many more. And the best part? More often than not, the styles are mostly reduced. Like, I’m talking 50% or more.

It’s one of my best kept secrets when I need to find a new evening look two days before the date. Or when I have a wedding coming up and absolutely can’t spend more than $200 on a dress for the occasion. It’s a haven of trendy designer pieces that won’t break the bank. It’s basically like the sales section of each of my favorite stores all in one place. A real dream come true.

Nor are they outdated fads. They have hot trends and hot brands that you would want to pick up anyway. Baggy Levi’s jeans? To verify. Ugg slippers? Sure. A Madewell Shacket you’ll wear all year round? You bet.

You do not believe me ? Take a look below where I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite items. I bet by the time you get to the end, you’ll be pretty impressed.

Yoga pants, flare leggings, sweatpants, call them what you want. Their name is my spirit is and always will be: life saver. It’s the only way I can get away with wearing gym clothes to the office and vice versa. They make life so much easier and sitting in an uncomfortable work chair so much more bearable.

A pair of furry Ugg slippers usually sell for over $100, but you can get them for half the price when you opt for these discounted shoes. They look like your next WFH/race shoes, if you ask me.

Free People Daphne Women’s Velvet Sleeve Mini Dress

There’s just something about a Free People mini dress that fills me with joy. The fluid fit, puff sleeves and smocked bodice really set the bar high for fall/winter dresses. My plan for the rest of the winter? Pair this ensemble with reliable tights and my favorite combat boots for a girly punk look I’ll feel like a badass in.

STAUD Women’s Muffet Trousers

You and I know how comfortable these pants are just by looking at them. The best part is that the soft rib knit bottoms can be worn to work straight from the couch and look perfect for the office. Try saying that about another pair of tracksuits.

Good American Low G-String Bodysuit

I trust Khloé Kardashian for two things: vibrator recommendations and good American bodysuits. These are always incredibly flattering and so versatile that I end up wearing them multiple times. Like, so much that I have to force myself to carry other items in my closet.
