Lounge pants have become an important part of my daily uniform since I started working from home in recent years. I like to think that I have become a connoisseur of comfy pants so I have standards high enough to top my favorites. Like any good wardrobe staple, they need to match the different tops I already own, and because I love to dress up, they need to be cute but comfy. (Think: not your average sweatpants.)

So when Amazon gave me the opportunity to test out clothes from its private labels, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to buy new loungewear, especially once I found out about this. sweater pants from The Drop.

My dresser drawer is full of so many different lounge pants, but I haven’t been able to stop wearing them since they got to my door. Alright so i have wore other pants since I got them, but only because I feel guilty that I didn’t pay attention to my other options. But five or six days a week, you’ll surprise me in a new sweater-pants outfit. I’m currently wearing them as I write this, and when I offered to write about them another editor let go to tell me how much she loves them too.

Made from such a luxurious soft touch ribbed material, the high waisted pant has a super flattering flare fit that Gen-z would approve of. Being a 5ft 2in petite woman, I struggled to find flare pants that weren’t too wide or too long on my legs. These sweater pants are actually nicely draped and sit perfectly against the top of my foot as they should.

On days when I have to be in front of the camera for a meeting, I wear them with a fitted sweater tucked in to feel more fit. Some days I just put my favorite oversized sweatshirt with them. I even wear the sweater pants outside to walk my dog with my zipped sheepskin jacket and sneakers. I like that they go with everything! Oh, and did I mention there’s a cute top to match the bralette?

Sweater pants are available in a full range of sizes, from XXS to 3X. I ordered an XXS in beige, and the elastic waistband is slightly tight around my stomach, but not enough to make it uncomfortable. I really think I could order a size up and they would still fit well. They are also available in black and gray, which I will order as soon as possible.
