I have to admit that I really don’t like my hair. I live in Hawai’i, so most of the time I jump out of the ocean and let my hair air-dry, praying that the effortless beachy-wave look everyone seems to have here will come. really so easily. But the problem is that salt water dries out my hair and scalp, so rather than soft waves, my hair has more of a hard crunch after soaking.
But when my best friend visited the islands recently, she brought along her Miserwe curling iron. Before a night out, she used it to curl my hair, and I was amazed at how good it was. The curls looked so easy – it was that fresh out of the water look I was hoping for to keep up with the local beach casual style – so I immediately ordered my own.
Rather than creating barrel curls, the 1-inch triple-barrel curling iron crimps hair, but not in the 80s way. inside and squeeze it, holding it for only five to 10 seconds. Because my hair is thicker, I like to part it into two layers, starting at the bottom and working up to the roots. The whole process takes me about 8 minutes – It’s that quick and easy. And I don’t even need hairspray! My curls always last all night.
If you want more of a barrel-style curl from the iron, which heats up to 430 degrees Fahrenheit, you can easily achieve that by opening the clamp and twisting a smaller section of hair around the center rod, then squeezing . These look just as good, though the end result is a bit more elaborate than what most people do here.
On the left, what my hair looks like normally, and on the right, what it looks like after going through the Miserwe:
Basically, this hair tool is an all-in-one crimper and curler, and I feel like it was designed especially for me, someone who has no experience in styling their own hair. I appreciate that its handle stays cool even at the highest temperatures. It even comes with a heat resistant glove, which came in handy when I first learned to use the tool.
Hundreds of Amazon shoppers are also raving about this curler, calling it a “must-buy” in their reviews. One customer said Miserwe’s curling iron made her “hair look perfect”, while another, who bought it for her teenage daughter (she “loves it”, by the way), agreed that it was so “easy to use”.
I couldn’t imagine going out without this curler now, and it has made my beauty routine so much faster. While quality curling irons and crimpers can cost a pretty penny, this amazing hair tool is only $23, making it a complete steal. Get it on Amazon for Hawai’i ready waves wherever you are.
