Prenatal and immune supplements sold at Target and online at Amazon recalled

Rae Wellness Branded prenatal and immune supplements sold at Target stores and online have been recalled because they lack child-resistant packaging. The products contain iron which could poison children.

According to US Consumer Product Safety Commission, the supplements were sold at Target stores and online at Target, Amazon, ThriveMarket, FabFitFun, and StandardDose from September 2019 through February 2022 for Rae Prenatal Capsules and October 2020 through February 2022 for Rae Immunity Capsules, for approximately $15 $.

Both products include 60 capsules per bottle.

“The products are dietary supplements containing iron which must be in child-resistant packaging as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. The packaging of the products is not childproof, posing a risk of poisoning if the contents are swallowed by young children,” the commission said.

People who purchased the supplements can contact Rae Wellness to find out how to dispose of them and receive a refund.

For more information, contact Rae Wellness at 888-258-0910, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday; email [email protected] or visit website.
