Star Concessions collaborates with Amazon on a zero-payment store at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport


Star Concessions Ltd. announced the recent opening of Grab & Fly, a checkout-free shopping experience at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). Powered by Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology, the new store gives travelers an enhanced airport experience, allowing them to grab what they need and leave the store, without having to wait in lines. The innovative Grab & Fly concept meets the growing demands of time-pressed travelers for on-the-go purchases. Cold drinks, snacks, travel accessories, electronic devices and souvenirs are part of the wide variety of products offered.To enter Grab & Fly, travelers insert their credit card at the front door. Once inside, anything a traveler removes from the shelf is automatically added to their virtual cart, and anything they put back on the shelf exits their virtual cart. After travelers complete their shopping experience and exit the store, their credit card will be charged for the items they picked up. Associates are available in-store to assist customers, answer questions and restock shelves as needed.
