The new Amazon Prime series has a perfect score of Rotten Tomatoes

Prime Video’s latest project is getting high praise from critics. In fact, so many people love it, it currently has a perfect rating on Rotten Tomatoes. That’s right, The boys: diabolical– an animated look at the world of adult superheroes – is rated 100% Fresh at the time of this writing.

There are still too many reviews counted to give the animated show the coveted Certified Fresh badge, but the 13 reviews submitted on the series so far speak volumes about what’s in store for fans. This includes a review from’s Nicole Drum, who gave the series four out of five stars.

“When The Boys Presents: Devilish was announced, The boys Showrunner Eric Kripke described the animated anthology series as “unexpected, funny, shocking, gory, wet and emotional episodes” and suggested they would rival the madness that is The boys live-action series,” Drum wrote in his review. “The reality is that Kripke was half right. The Boys Presents: Devilish is funny and shocking and gory and emotional, but the spinoff isn’t even as crazy as its parent series. Aside from a few hiccups, the series offers a solid look at the larger world in which Vought’s manufactured heroes exist, offers some glimpses of key characters, and offers something that even the most laid-back of The boys viewer can enjoy.
